Under the leadership of Minister Adolfo Urso, Italy wants to strengthen its automotive sector by encouraging the presence of multiple manufacturers. Italy aims to produce 1.3 million vehicles annually, including a significant contribution from a new manufacturer yet to be determined.

Considering the company’s leaks, you’d think we would have heard about it if a van was in the works. Maybe this is the push Tesla needs to get the van into production.

Tesla’s FSD Beta 12.3.2 is making its way to cars in the US, along with an update for the 2024.3 branch, which includes all the features of update 2024.2. It also includes the new vision-based Autopark feature, which is available on vehicles without Ultrasonic sensors for the first time.

  • It’s update 2024.3.5, which means it includes all the features of update 2024.2, including the new Trips menu, improvements to Supercharging, ultra-wideband support, and a handy reminder to plug in at home

  • This update introduces an improved Autopark feature that uses neural networks and aims to address the limitations of previous versions and provide a more intuitive and efficient parking solution that promises to significantly outperform its predecessors. It also brings the function to vehicles without ultrasonic sensors for the first time

US exclusive (for now):

  • The update will initially roll out only in the US, but Canadians will now be updated to v12.3.1 with update 2023.44.30.30

  • Starting with update 2024.2.x, users will also be eligible, allowing a broader group of Tesla owners to purchase or subscribe to FSD Beta. This is also expected to be the version that will offer Tesla owners a free month of FSD Beta

Beyond the Update: FSD’s Evolving Landscape:

Tesla is capitalizing on the awe of its Full Self-Driving (FSD) technology by offering new and current eligible owners a one-month free trial of FSD following the positive feedback on version 12.3.1. Musk announced that the feature will be available this week, although it’s not clear whether this will initially include just new owners or everyone. This initiative aims to demonstrate the advanced capabilities of FSD and familiarize users with the convenience and safety of minimal driver intervention.
